Startup dishes out food cooked by robotic kitchen A Bengaluru -based startup Mechanical Chef has designed a robotic kitchen that can cook a variety of Indian dishes ranging from matar paneer to bisi bele bath without any human intervention . The startup founded by a team led by a former Machine learning researcher at Microsoft and an aerospace engineer who worked on the moon rover at Team Indus , have built a prototype that can cook over 20 Indian dishes. The robotic kitchen was developed with funding from Department of Science and Technology , is undergoing user trials and hopes to launch a commercial product that would be as big as a microwave oven next year. “We are trying to save two hours (of a person) in a day. Google Assistant no longer needs 'hey' and 'OK' for your every query I nternet search giant Google is rolling out the Continued Conversation feature to its Artificial Intelligence-based voice assistant , called Google Assistant . This will be functional starting today on Google Home,  Google Home   Mini and Google Home Max , as per Google's blogpost. Currently, this feature is being rolled out only in the US , but is expected to reach other countries soon as well. The Continued Conversation feature was first announced at the time of Google's annual developers' conference,  Google I/O  2018. IBM introduces Project Debater, pits computer against humans IBM  pitted a computer against two human debaters in the first public demonstration of  artificial intelligence  technology it's been working on for more than five years . The company unveiled its Project Debater in San Francisco on Monday, asking it to make a case for government-subsidised space research - a topic it hadn't studied in advance but championed fiercely with just a few awkward gaps in reasoning. PHONEPE  AND OLA  PARTNERSHIP 2018 D igital payments platform  Phonepe  has partnered with  OLA   to launch the ‘industry-first’  AutoPay  feature. The integration with ride-sharing platform will allow PhonePe users to pay for their mobility needs . Under the partnership , PhonePe users will have access to OLA’s commuting offerings for a hassle-free cab and auto booking experience, the company said in a statement. Through AutoPay , users will need to link their preferred credit/debit card for a OLA ride in the PhonePe app . Once it is done, their ride-fare would automatically be paid at the end of every ride . Users will have the flexibility of setting and switching off AutoPay instructions anytime they want. Google photo I nternet search giant Google has been introducing new features to its Photos app for a while. It has now rolled out a new feature that is equivalent to liking a picture. When a user creates shared album, a heart-shaped icons appears in the bottom of the screen.  photo credits-google After tapping on that, all the users who have access to the album get notified that someone has liked the picture. We found this feature on  Google photos  app , although it is being reported that it is a gradual roll out. Last month, Google Photos reportedly started getting the feature called Suggested Actions, using which users can manage their images better. Patanjali Claims Kimbho App Was Taken Down After Massive Response There has been a lot of controversy around the ‘ Kimbho ’ messaging app from Patanjali , which emerged as a competitor to WhatsApp earlier this week.  The claimed Patanjali app turned out to be copy of another messaging app developer by a US-based startup that also developed Kimbho . And it isn’t on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store anymore. A Patanjali spokesperson has been quoted saying that the app, claimed to be a security disaster by a security researcher, has been taken down after getting massive attention with over 160,000 app downloads on the Google Play Store.

Rajini Visits Tuticorin , Donates Rs 2 Lakh Rajinikanth will donate Rs 2 lakh each to the families of those killed in police firing during the Sterlite protests on 22 May 2018 , the actor-politician said. He also announced a donation of Rs 10,000 for people who sustained injuring during the protest. This is the first time Rajini , since announcing his political entry in December 2017, has gone beyond the podium and Twitter to reach out to and meet the people of Tamil Nadu. Rajini was quite head-on in calling out the inefficiency of the state government. He also added that violence was inflicted on protesters because of “negligence of intelligence” . “This should never happen in the future,” he said. Rajinikanth visited the people who were injured in the firing at the Tuticorin Hospital on Tuesday .
